I took the 4 week course with Lesley when my daughter was just a few weeks old and still use the techniques today (she’s now 5 months old). My daughter loved the baby massage and responded so well to it, even now if I start massaging her feet when she’s upset she’ll instantly relax. Lesley is a lovely person, very welcoming and instantly makes you feel at ease. I also liked how she’s structured the course in a way that you can still learn techniques even if the baby doesn’t allow, for example by falling asleep, needs feeding or just doesn’t fancy it that day. I highly recommend Sun and Moon Baby Massage.

Lesley’s baby massage class was the first class I braved with my little boy as a first time mum. It did not disappoint! I learnt some great techniques that have helped relax my boy and helped him with his colic. The classes are very relaxed and you are made to feel completely at ease, even when the babies aren’t playing ball!!! The techniques are demonstrated and you always have the opportunity to ask questions if not sure. I have continued to use the massage techniques at home and would not hesitate to book another class!

I took my daughter along at four weeks to Lesley's massage classes, and she absolutely loved it! It was a lovely small class so it gave us mummies the opportunity to chat to each other which I think is really important too. Lesley was also fantastic and gave us helpful handouts so we could practice with our babies at home. We would do the course all over again if we could :)

Why choose Sun and Moon Baby Massage?

This IAIM Baby Massage Course draws from both the Indian and Swedish massage traditions as well as incorporating principles from yoga and reflexology. The course teaches parents and caregivers a sequence of rhythmic strokes and soothing holds, which have been developed and refined over many years.

Massaging your baby provides a wonderful opportunity for expressing your love, whilst meeting the high need for love and affection that is so essential for the healthy development of all babies.

I take pride in making my classes warm and welcoming for all parents and babies. Acknowledging and respecting each parent/caregiver as the expert of their own unique baby we can then work together to create relaxation, awareness of cues and communication through nurturing touch and hold.

I have over 25 years experience as an Early Years Professional and 10 years as a certified Infant Massage Instructor with IAIM membership. I hold a current enhanced DBS certificate, a Paediatric First Aid certificate and full Liability Insurance.
